Suni-sunayi baat/ Told and retold
Recited in courtyards under neem trees, repeated after meals, scribbled in the margins, passed onto those who need. Some shared under the glow of the oil lamp, others half-asleep, mixed in with everyday conversations.

Folded into language, into warnings, into small wisdoms tucked between laughter. Each story retold not to preserve, but to pass on. Not verbatim, but the same intention.

The faces of the scroll delve more into the lessons Panchtantra has taught us since childhood, which still somehow linger whenever the need for guidance arises, the patua scroll is transcribs these oral tales recited into drawn visuals reinterpreted as performance while being unraveled.
